As the top high end swimming pool contractor in New Hampshire, the heart of the design was of course a swimming pool. A gunite swimming pool was chosen for its durability, design flexibility, and long-term value. Choosing a gunite allowed the Stone Ridge team to customize the pool’s shape, depth, and layout to suit the family’s needs and wants. An automatic safety cover was incorporated to provide peace of mind, helping keep children safe while also maintaining water temperature and reducing maintenance. Because Stone Ridge Outdoor Experiences is a full service design-build company, every aspect of the pool installation, as well as the landscaping, was handled in-house to ensure precision and quality throughout the build.
Surrounding the pool is a spacious paver pool deck designed to support both relaxation and activity. Landscape design and finishing details played a critical role in completing the project. Carefully selected plantings soften the hardscape elements and add seasonal color, while low-voltage landscape lighting enhances safety and usability after sunset. Subtle lighting highlights walkways, seating areas, and key features without overpowering the natural atmosphere of the yard. An integrated outdoor audio system was also installed to provide background music and entertainment while maintaining a clean, uncluttered look.
For safety and structure, the entire space is enclosed with a sleek black aluminum fence. This solution offers the required pool safety while preserving clear sightlines and an open, elegant feel that doesn’t detract from the overall design.
